The National Medical Comission (NMC) has announced the NEET 2024 reduced syllabus and ends the confusion of aspirants that whether questions will be asked from deleted chapters or not.

NMC in a recently  published notice has clarified the confusion regarding syllabus of NEET 2024 and NEET 2024-25 session also.

Here is a list of reduced or deleted chapters from NEET 2024 Syllabus one has to look for:

• Chemistry: A heavy syllabus reduction has been observed in Chemistry syllabus in NEET 2024. Around 10 -11 chapters are completely removed from the syllabus.

1. s- block elements.
2. Hydrogen.
3. General principles and processes of isolation of elements.
4. Chemistry in Everyday life
5. Polymers.
6. Environmental Chemistry
7. Solid state.
8. Surface Chemistry
9. Electrochemistry 
10. States of Matter.

• Biology :

1. Anatomy of Flowering plants.
2. Transport in Plants
3. Mineral nutrition
4. Digestion and Absorption
5. Reproduction
6. Strategies for enhancement in food production
7. Environmental issues.

• Physics: As such complete chapters are not deleted in Physics syllabus, but certain topics inside each chapter have been removed. So one should refer the detailed syllabus once from official website to have a clear view on topics removed.

The syllabus reduced has now provided aspirants a  complete clearance of all doubts regarding syllabus. The official notice clearly mention that the stakeholders are advised to refer to updated syllabus of NEET 2024 for preparation.
