Can I still get into IIT? - JEE 2025

As the time is running, students aspiring for JEE 2025 have the questions in their mind that:

  • Can they still clear JEE ADVANCED -2025?
  • Can they still get admission into their dream IITS?
  • Can they still get a top branch in one of the prestigious institutes of country (IITs) ?
  • Can they get a rank under 5000 or 2000 or 1000 or 500 or 100?

So, the answer to all such questions developing in minds of JEE 2025 aspirants has been provided in this post.
So, first of all remember that getting a seat in good IITs (<5000 rank) is not a pretty tough task. It just requires your consistency and dedication to fight till the last day of exam.
Remember, most of the people aspiring for competitive exams like JEE and NEET, fail to fight till end. Each year about 90% of aspirants going to write JEE, are not serious for the exam or loose their momentum and motivation till 12th end.
As, backlog starts increasing, students start avoiding their studies, avoid mock test, their analyzation and problem solving, which decreases most of the competition.
Of the total of aspirants filling the form for exam, only few serious students remain till last to fight and those of which who performs well out of those pass the exam.

So, The bottom line of this point is that fight till last. Do not give up, there is a lot of time for one aspiring for JEE 2025 to still clear JEE Advanced exam and get into his/her dream college.

So, Now here are some of the points that one should keep it in mind while preparing for the exam:
  • If you are enrolled in any offline/online coaching, try to grasp each and every concept being taught in class.
  • Try to solve the coaching sheets, hustle with problems, try to clear all your doubts.
  •  Revise things being taught in class on a regular basis.
  • To clear backlogs, try to figure out a weekend or a long holiday- Diwali break to clear all out of it. From my POV, you have to clear topics in pieces whenever you get time to do so, not take backlog as a big burden.
  • Solve problems of coaching sheets, Previous year problems, to get a hand over application of theory being taught.
  • Give Mock Tests regularly. Never skip a mock test. Prepare for mocks (as it will also help one to revise his/ her syllabus). Analyse the mistakes that you have done in mocks and then work to rectify them.
  • Try to revise your 11th syllabus frequently, even while preparing in 12th standard.
If somebody has done all such stuffs, and has cleared all backlogs, so he/she should try to go  towards some reference books for ADVANCED like A.Das.Gupta, I.E. Irodov, etc. This will improve one's rank and can even make him/ her able to reach under the top 500 or 100 rankers bracket.

PIECE OF ADVICE: This is just a beginning of JEE preparation, many aspirants lag behind in their preparation during 11th because they face a sudden change in study pattern from 10th to Competition level. But this lag can be easily cleared by consistent hard work till the last of journey.
Getting rank under 5000, is not too tough. It just requires a consistent work with equal proportion to theory, revision, problem solving, building advanced thinking, but most of the people fail to do so.

However for a better rank like top 1000 or top 500 or top 100, you have to put extra effort for it. Solve some reference books, develop your thinking, solve advanced problems and much more.

So don't overstress, a lot of time is still available for one to still get into IITs. Just dedicate yourself towards your goal, follow the points and you will surely achieve it.
